If you are going to go through any kind of auto body shop profit training, you need to realize just how big of an impact your staff has on the amount of money you make. Your staff provides the face of your company. They are the people your customers interact with on a regular basis. In addition to that, the staff you put in place has an enormous impact on the productivity of your business. As the owner, you know you can't do it all. If you try to, it'll always be a one man show and your results will reflect it. Bringing people on board to help out will take your business a long way. Thus the better the staff you have, the more money you can make in the end. Here are some thoughts to ponder when analyzing how to grow your staff:

Be selective about who you bring in. I'm sure it's a tempting thing to hire the first guy that comes through the door if you're busy and need the hands, but that's a recipe for disaster. This is your business. It's your baby. Take the time to verify the credentials and certifications they list, don't just assume. You also want to spend the extra time reaching out to the personal references they list. A shop owner in Texas shared with me his experience with a guy he brought in. He accepted a guy's application once who had tons of experience. Graduated from a nearby tech school, spent years working with bigger shops around town. He thought he wouldn't have to spend much time training him. So he took him in to help with the work flow. He later found out from his previous employer that he was struggling with a drug addiction, but it wasn't discovered until after the damage was done to his business. Be selective and do your due diligence on the guys you bring in.

Train your guys as an investment. Jason Stahl of Body Shop Business shares his experience with Doug Keilian of Auto Kraft in Lincoln, Nebraska. Responding to the problem of training guys then watching them leave to his competitors, Keilian says he has no issue with it at all. "To see young guys advance with skills and talents because they don't need you anymore is satisfying because you know you had an impact on them and will still be having an impact in the industry autel maxicheck pro, even though you're not reaping the rewards directly anymore." Clearly, Keilian takes on the task of training his team as an investment in them as men, in the industry itself, but also in his own reputation and the reputation of his shop. The benefits of that effort on his part plays itself out in other areas: employee satisfaction, quality of work provided, customer experience, etc. All of these things will positively effect both your customer retention rate and your customer referrals. Train your guys as a marketing investment.

Keeping business goals in mind when gauging their performance MaxiSys Mini. Create benchmarks for your guys to measure their performance. Reward good staff members when they do a good job. Terminate those who are habitually hindering your business. The whole goal in doing this will be to keep your auto body operations running smoothly and to bring in customers. You need to cater to your customers as much as possible, and if that means making adjustments to your staff, so be it.

What are some experiences you as a shop owner and/or manager have had when it comes to your staff? What are some good/bad experiences you've had? What are some things you've learned when it comes to training your team?

There is a very cheap and highly effective way of protecting your car - so cheap is it you don't need to use all of your stimulus check from the government to make sure your vehicle keeps its looks despite the weather, birds, kids playing around it or the adverse effect of water causing rust and serious damage to the structural integrity of your pride and joy!

Investing in a car cover allows you to keep your car out in the open, perhaps because the garage is full or you don't have one. Parking your vehicle in the sun causes the paintwork to fade and become discolored, and just like you on the beach, adding a protective layer will stop your car from getting a serious dose of sun burn Autel MaxiSys Mini. Choosing a car cover that will protect your investment is essential and yet it is so easy to do!

You need to choose a car cover that will fit your vehicle easily and ensure proper protection. Make sure the car cover is made from a flexible and lightweight material that will allow easy handling and fitting while at the same time, can be stored with the minimum of space and fuss. A good man made material will also allow the car cover to be stored for long periods of time when not in use, say in the summer if you only want the cover in operation during the winter months.

A good man made car cover will also be completely water proof so water cannot get to the bodywork and start corroding the metal framework which quickly creates unsightly marks on the paint job and will lead to a serious damage to the car. When the time comes to sell your vehicle, the appearance of the paint work is going to be a major factor in maintaining the value you can expect to get from selling the car on. You can clean and polish your car as frequently as you want, but unless you are going to protect the finished product you will have to increase the maintenance cycle and still will not be able to stop the deterioration in the appearance of your car unless you have it under cover.

A car cover will also be tough enough to withstand minor bumps and scratches from children and animals hitting the car with a ball or having the friendly neighborhood cat using the hood as a great place to perch on. A robust man made car cover will be able to withstand the impact of other car doors being opened and hitting your bodywork causing scratches and dings so many of us take for granted.

So while you may invest your stimulus check in a new automobile, make sure you also invest a few bucks into a good quality car cover which you can use to ensure you get the full enjoyment from having a great looking car as well as making sure you protect the value of the vehicle higher than your neighbor who is not using a car cover at all.

Part and parcel of owning a bike is maintaining its appearance and its capability. Nevertheless, despite making sure that the parts and cables of the motorcycle give us maximum service, we cannot but accept that they have their own warranties and lifetimes.

Unlike artwork or antiques, motorcycles are made to be used and abused. With all the elements found in the environment, motorcycle parts will definitely have its final day. When that day comes and you don't have enough money to buy new ones, why not settle for used motorcycle parts, e.g. cables? With a few tinkering and proper installation, they might just provide you the service you need in many years to come.

Here are some suggestions for proper installation of used motorcycle parts and cables:

Tip #1: Inspect and make sure you have the correct cable. This is the very first step in getting the best used cable you need. Inspect the used cable for any major wear and tear autel maxisys elite. Remember that these are used cables so it will definitely have a few scratches; but it must not be too great that using it for just a few days will result in a total bust. After you have checked thoroughly, make sure you have the correct part for the application, e.g. correct cable ends, proper size casing ferrules, correct size, shape and thread size of adjusters/elbows, etc.

Tip #2: Make sure all adjusters are in "closed" position.

Tip #3: Use a direct route for the cables. Route your used cables from control to actuator in the most direct way possible. Keep cables away from hot surfaces and avoid sharp bends, as well as "kinks" in the housing or inner cable.

Tip #4: Adjust throttle/idle cables. These should be adjusted the carb/s will return to full close when off. Adjust any excessive freeplay and be sure throttle action is smooth and free from open to full close before starting the engine. Also make sure that the used cables do not bind together or hang up when there is full lock-to-lock movement of bars.

Tip #5: Make sure clutch/brake cables are routed properly. This is to avoid binding or hanging up the cables when there is full lock-to-lock movement of bars. Also, cables that are routed properly will not bind during compression of forks or suspension. Install lever and actuator fittings, adjust freeplay to correct specs and check for smooth-positive action. These are done before starting the bike.

Tip #6: Route the speedometer/tachometer cables using a direct path. Make sure that the cable will not hang up on the caliper when forks compressed on the front wheel drive speedometer cable. This is what usually happens with aftermarket calipers because they often come in a larger size or different shape. Always make sure that the inner cable is well-lubed with light grease when installing and removing. Clean and re-grease regularly for maintenance.

Tip #7: Avoid having contact with painted surfaces when installing stainless steel braided cables. The braided surfaces of these used cables are very abrasive. You can use shrink or spiral wrap and/or cable guides when needed. And because stainless braided cables are less flexible, always keep this in mind when getting measurements for applications that are tailored according to your specifications. Clean and lube like any conventional cable assemblies.

And like any other used motorcycle parts, keep used cables clean and properly lubricated when necessary. Always check on the proper adjustments and inspect for any wear and tear on a regular basis. Signs to look out for are torn or worn housing Autel MaxiSys Pro, frayed wires, and signs of bending or kinking at the controls.

First of all, let's get something cleared up - you don't need to own a car to be looking at a car cover - you could be looking to protect your truck or SUV, a boat, an airplane or in fact any type of vehicle which is being stored for any length of time and needs to be protected from the elements and environmental factors which can and will, drastically reduce the value of your investment and degrade the looks and appearance.

You need to consider the protection aspects of a car cover for sure but there are other things you need to take into consideration as well. Have you ever tried to fly a kite in very windy weather? Ever try to put up a tent in a storm? Do you get the idea that you also have to buy a car cover you will actually be able to use in a variety of conditions - just picture the scene, it's dark, it's wet and there is a storm blowing up and you need to put your car cover on or even worse, take it off so you can get inside and drive to where you need to get to! How easy will it be to handle the car cover you are thinking about using?

This will guide you to buying a light weight and easily managed car cover but then you also have to consider how well the car cover will protect your vehicle from the effects of heat. A light weight car cover will trap heat and this will in turn affect how fast water corrodes your paint and bodywork; excess heat will also lead to issues with engine performance, electrical and fluid based systems. In short, you need to make sure the car cover will provide a degree of insulation protection from heat. A thick cover will be better at doing this than a light-weight car cover as it will prevent the environment from actually heating up the vehicle itself.

So you have a conundrum; you want a light-weight and easy-to-handle cover so you can actually use it when you need it but at the same time Autel MaxiSys MS908, you are also looking for a heavy-weight car cover which will provide robust protection and insulation.

Consider this as well; a hard-wearing car cover may be manufactured from coarse materials and fabrics - do you really want something that feels like sandpaper to your touch coming into contact with pristine paint work? You need to make sure the car cover provides a "soft-touch" for where it comes into contact with your vehicle. This will avoid the car cover scratching the paint work and reducing the value of the car or vehicle which is what you are looking to avoid in the first instance by buying a cover.

While you are looking for a soft-touch on the inside of the cover, you are definitely looking for a cover which will provide a layer of protection to so dings and scratches are not caused by knocks and bumps. Children kicking a ball or a tree branch falling in a storm will cause serious nuisance damage to the looks and aesthetic feel of your car and make a serious dent in the value so the car cover must be tough enough to withstand knocks from a variety of sources autel maxisys elite.

The name

Interestingly, the car that we today know as the 911 was initially named the 901 (901 being its internal project number). However, the rival company Peugeot objected to the name on the ground that they had an exclusive right to name cars with three digits and the middle digit being 0. Although these rights were only valid in France, Porsche renamed the line of cars to 911 to avoid any complications. Thus was the name for one of the most popular automobiles in history selected; as a compromise.

The development

Since it抯 unveiling in 1963, the 911 has gone through many transformations and with the advent of newer and most advanced technology, the modifications are still going on. The 911 range can broadly be classified into two on the basis of the cooling technology used in them. They are ?

?Air cooled ?These vehicles used air as the cooling medium for the engines and thus the heat losses were substantial. The earliest 911抯 were of this type and the technology was used by Porsche till 1998. The cars built with this technology include Porsche 911 classic (1964-1989), Porsche 964 (1989-1993) and Porsche 993 (1993-1998) wide body.

?Water cooled ?As the name reveals, this line of vehicles had water as the cooling medium and thus their efficiency improved manifold. This technology has been adopted by Porsche for all its vehicles since 1998. The cars built with this technology include Porsche 996 (1999-2004) and Porsche 997 (2004-Present) Autel MaxiSys MS908.

Phil Hill made his place in automotive history as the only native born American to win a Formula One Championship. Hill was born April 20th, 1927 in Miami, Florida however he was raised in Santa Monica, California.

His love of cars started at age nine when he first drove a guest's car around the block during a party at his house. Then when he was 12, his aunt helped him buy a Model T. He entered the University of Southern California in 1945 to study business however he dropped out in 1947 to work on cars and once in a while to drive. In 1949 he was working for a Jaguar dealership that sent him to England as a Jaguar trainee to study maintenance. When Hill returned from England, he began his racing career.

However, his years working as a mechanic would be of immense help in racing, as he knew exactly how far he could push the automobile and still be safe. And while his driving friends crashed and died all around him, Phil never had a serious accident in all his years of driving.

In 1954 he finished second in the Pan-American race, which resulted in an invitation to drive in the Le Mans. Four years later, Phil, driving with his Belgian teammate, Olivier Gendebien, became the first American-born driver to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He did this driving on slick asphalt through a torrential rain behind the wheel of a car that had a braking problem. However endurance racing was Phil's forte and he would win Le Mans two more times. His first Formula One race was the 1958 French Grand Prix held at Reims, France. Phil was driving a Maserati.

When Phil won the Formula 1 in 1961 he was competing against the German driver, Wolfgang von Trips. Phil moved into the lead during the first lap and Von Trips was trying to catch up but collided with Jim Clark's Lotus and spun out of control plunging into the crowd and killing him and fourteen spectators. Hill went on to win the race and did not learn of the deaths until afterwards. When a reporter asked Hill if he were going to quit racing, Hill replied that he didn't know. But later he told the reporter that everyone dies sooner or later and it was a fine thing that Von Trips died doing something he loved, without suffering and without any warning. Phil was always nervous prior to the race and would be observed chain-smoking and polishing his goggles autel maxisys ms906. Once behind the wheel however, he was calm and totally in control. Phil parted company with the Ferrari team the following year but kept on racing until 1966 when he retired. After leaving racing, he wrote articles for various car magazines and collected vintage cars autel maxisys mini ms905. He also served as a judge at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Phil died on August 28, 2008 of complications from Parkinson's disease. He was respected by all of those connected with racing as an excellent driver who had competed and survived when the sport was far more dangerous than it is today.
