It might be said that the BMW - Bavarian Motor Works - M1 model did not quite make it on the race track. Yet all in all, and no doubt, the M1 certainly and by no doubt what so ever was one of the very most spectacular road cars of the era of the nineteen seventies. No doubt about the M1 what so ever in any way or means if you met one on the roads or highways - be it on the Autobahn itself or on the highways of the American interstate or Canada's Highway Number One.

What are the history of, and the origins of this influential vehicle - the BMW M1? It seems that in the late 1970's BMW's Motorsport boss Mr. Jochen Neerpasch wanted a new racer - a brand new racing automobile product to replace the aging be winged CS coupe and fly the BMW flag on the auto racing circuits worldwide not only in the 1970's but well into the future nineteen eighties ds808. No doubt what so ever, competition on these auto tracks would be severe and competitive. The newcomer would have to do more than elbow its way in past extensive and established competition from the well known auto manufactures of great note and endeavor. On roads, tracks and stretches would be met the likes of Porsches in Group 4, as well as in the upcoming near future Group 5 (silhouette) racers. The gauntlet had been thrown down. No BMW road car, past or present would need to have more power, prestige or even broad appeal.

In short, BMW needed a senior league mid-engine legend - a supercar, and in a split second of timing, design and production. The result of this planning and foresight was the M1: many in the auto racing field say the best vehicle and automotive product BMW never made.

Yet the complete and full tale of the BMW M1 almost spins out more like a nightmare in its early planning and implementation stages. Neerpasch made all the right moves, but was dogged by more than exceptional bad karma from the very beginnings of overall project car inception.

It might be said that since from the first - that the M1 project itself would have disrupted the core revenue producing stream of BMW itself, to have the M1 engineered and manufactured by the BMW staff and production facilities itself, Neerpasch looked to what might be called in 2010 "Outsourcing" to Italy for help and outside assistance.

Overall the major decisions were easy to make, body design was entrusted to "Ital Design" Autel MaxiSys Pro. Chassis design overall development and final assembly to Modenese super car specialists Lamborghini. The engine allotment was decided in favor of BMW's own 3.5 liter straight six with a 24 valve head outputting close to 300 barrel horse power bhp output.

In the end the MW M1 became a legend not so much on the race track but rather among those who treasured the BMW line as the greatest of possessions in their toy chest. The M1 was a supreme driving machine. The ultimate driving toy of its day.

That is if you were not over 6 feet tall and did not mind a well deserved loud sounding engine and a lot of speeding and even red light tickets. A total of 450 M1's were built, 397 of them road going versions with only 53 racers.

Yet all in all it can be said. The BMW M1 was the Legend

We all know, in basic terms what a hybrid is all about and what some of the advantages are, but do we really know how they work and why they work? Let's take a closer look at that question starting with Honda's Civic hybrid as an example. To make it simple we have a vehicle with a gasoline powered engine much like any other. Added to that, is an auxiliary electric motor that functions to keep the gasoline motor working at a minimum. The electric motor needs some type of power supply to make it function, enter the hybrid system battery which is in addition to the normal 12 volt vehicle battery. Now, we have all the basic components covered so lets get a little deeper into how all these parts work in harmony to power your hybrid vehicle.

We have to think about how and when the IMA system in a Civic hybrid is functioning autel ds808. There are 2 modes that are used when you're in the car. Either the System is in charge mode working to recharge the hybrid system battery or it is in assist mode where the electric motor is being used to power the vehicle.

How does it work? "Assist"

Now, jump in your hybrid and let's take a look at how things get going. Turning the key to start your Civic hybrid is about the only step that would be comparable to a conventional car. Instead of a starter, your Civic uses the electric motor that is positioned between the gasoline engine and the transmission to get things turning. Now your up and running and heading for the grocery store, your watching that fancy little gauge that shows whether the car is charging or assisting and how much. Your climbing that hill and notice it indicates full assist, good thing since that little gas motor doesn't really like accelerating too quickly on its own.

How does it work? "Charge"

Well, lets pretend that hill was really long and now you've spent a good amount of the energy stored in the hybrid system battery. On the way down your gauge shows full charge mode because the car is using something called regenerative braking to charge the battery back up again for the next hill. Basically, instead of throwing away all the energy that's lost while decelerating or braking, we use regenerative braking to recapture and store some of that energy for when we need that assist function again.

How does it work? "Autostop"

When we come up to a stoplight right before the grocery store, it turns red and we stop. When we stop a Civic hybrid it goes into autostop mode, where the gasoline engine shuts down completely. The unique thing about hybrids is some of your traditional features are electric now instead of mechanical. So, when your sitting at the red light, your air conditioning, audio system, and other comforts continue to work as they would if you were idling there burning gas in a conventional vehicle maxisys pro. Now, when the light turns green and we are off to the races again, you step on the gas peddle and seamlessly the gasoline engine is back up and running. Remember, there is not a normal starter, so it functions just like when you go to start your hybrid.

So what do i get out of it? "Advantages"

With all this back and forth between charging and assisting we find our savings on fuel. We get the advantage of using wasted energy to charge our battery instead of having to plug into an outlet every night. We get the convenience of filling up at normal gas stations, but less often. The biggest advantage when talking about hybrids is, you can walk out to your driveway, get in your car, and head on down the road just as conveniently as you could in a gas only car. Nothing is drastically different from a drivers standpoint, you will not need to get used to a new routine of plugging your car in or trying to find some obscure alt-fuel station.

If the words of carnival king P.T. Barnum are to be believed, indeed "There is a sucker born every minute. And while you thought that car dealership is all about honesty and integrity, salesmen out there are out to get you wrong.

Some of them you would find are really genuine salesman who will go by the product and its features. Most others though are the aggressive breed of salesmen who will possibly call a spade, an axe. Before buying a car, you better be sure who you are dealing with.

To be an educated, assertive consumer you need to do some research and serious number crunching. Spend a couple of hours with all the information resources available and you should be ready to buy a new car. Some misrepresentations that you would have to keep an eye on are as follows Autel MaxiSys Pro.

The credit cozen

You would often find a lot of dealers proclaiming that your credit history is indeed bad. And because of your credit history being bad, you might just have to pay a bit more for your loans - seems the retort of most salesmen. If you are damn sure your ratings are not jacked up, you are safe.

But if you have any doubt at all, you should check with the major credit bureaus before you even think of heading to the showroom. Remember, knowing your credit rating before you purchase a car is essential.

The transaction trick

Buying a car includes multiple transactions and they are - new car price, the trade-in value, and the financing. All these transactions are possible money-making opportunities for dealers, and as it happens in most cases, this is where a lot of dealers make merry.

One mistake people make is roll up all of them into one and negotiate on the price. This surely is a losing deal for you. Rather, treat them individually and negotiate on each transaction in entirety. This way you would surely get the best price for your car.

Enough research on the entire process is important if you wish to get the best deal possible. One thing though - Buyers need not think of the finance department of their dealers as their loan agents. It is not the dealers responsibility to get you the best rates.

The payment ploy

Assume that the car's value of $15,000. If a dealer tells you could get the car in less than $400 a month, rather than getting all excited, you should watch the science behind this statement. Possibly, the dealer has counted in a huge down payment. Or, you may just have to pay the loan in more installments. Whatever be the case, you should know these terms and conditions in advance.

Rather than thinking on the lines of how much you need to pay for the car, you should be thinking how much you could pay for the car Advanced Version of DS708. There is a difference between both, a difference not many people understand.

The sticker shenanigan

The vehicle price listed on the window is known as the MSRP, or manufacturer's suggested retail price. Who cares? Do you really have to know all this? Not really! Just know the invoice price and work the MSRP from the bottom.

Visit some websites to get updated about the actual selling prices of cars. This is important because if you know the actual selling price of the car, you could eliminate any possibility of the dealer cheating on you.

Sticker price is the metric in the sales of some popular cars. One of the popular cars, the Honda Minivan is sold at the sticker price.

The holdback hustle

Sometimes you would find manufacturers giving cash incentives to dealers. These are called "holdback". This allows the dealers to expedite the process of pushing up the sales for models that normally don't sell all that well.

Find out if any holdbacks are included in the car deal. While it may not really impact your car deal anyways, but there is no wrong in asking either.

The financing four-flush

Some unscrupulous dealers have the practice of informing customers about the failure of the financing deal, days and sometimes weeks after they signed the purchase agreement. Senior executives of financing institutions say this is an absolute misrepresentation of the fact because all it takes for the dealers to check the financing is 15 minutes.

The objective of the dealers is simple - By telling you did not qualify for Car A costing $25,000, they wish to trap you into Car B that costs $50,000. Okay! Stay away from these guys then. Think about it - If you could not qualify for a lower priced car, how in the world would you get financing for a higher priced one?

The insurance illusion

Insurance is definitely a subject matter of solicitation but some dealers just do not seem to follow this. They would force you on buying an insurance for the vehicle. Gap Insurance is one of the most favored type of insurance policies. Assume that your car is worth $25,000 and you owe $30,000 on the car. If your car is considered to be a loss, the insurance policy will pay $5000. Credit Life Insurance policies on the other hand will pay the remaining amount if you die before repaying the car.

As of now these policies may not make sense. The reason why this is being told to you is because you may watch out for these prices when you buy the car. You would possibly be in a position where you could decline or accept a proposal.

The rate razzle-dazzle

How about a 0% interest on financing a new car? Sounds tempting! Be sure you check the nuts and bolts of such a deal. Chances are that you would find the monthly installments for such a deal run very high. These in essence are short term, ones that last for 24-36 months. Loans of such short tenure are known to have high installments anyways.

Be sure to get your own financing before proceeding to get a dealer rebate. This works out because of two inherent reasons - 1) You have arranged for your finance so you do not have to rely on the dealer charging you some interest rate, and 2) If the dealer anyways is giving you a rebate, it should be taken from your finance that you have arranged.

The rollover ruse

A lot of people make a decent move of trading up to a more expensive car. Sounds decent enough thus far! But the mistake they do is this - They trade up even when they are paying for the current car. This is a perfectly legal practice, but is risky. Here's why!

When a person trades up a car, he would roll over the payments of the existing car to the new car. Of course, the payments for the new car would still hold true. In essence, the person ends up paying more than the car's worth. God forbid if in the future, the person wishes to sell off the car or if it meets in an accident, the cover-up charges would be huge for the person.

The balloon bamboozle

Some dealers offer car loans with an exorbitantly high loan tenures. There have been some cases where people have been offered loans of about six to seven years. This could work in the scenario where you think you might have to pay lower. True, but there is a downside to it!

Remember, with time passing by the value of your car would go down. If you still end up paying for 6-7 years, chances are that you would have paid more than the actual worth of the car. Isn't that a loss for you?

On the other hand, you would find some dealers offering you cars at outrageously inexpensive rates for the moment. As you move down the road, you would find that the rates have gone up considerably higher. This scenario is still affordable especially when you have just started working and do not have a lot of money to pay for your car. Assuming your salary would increase with time, you surely would have some more money in a year or two to payoff your loans.

Experts from the financing industry say that understanding what you have to pay is critical. You may have bought a car worth $20,000 and yet be paying only $300 per month. Remember though, you would still need to payoff the principal at some stage of your life.

It is important for you to be extremely cautious about these things. More than being cautious, you should be knowledgeable about dealer financing just so to ensure your dealer does not dupe you off.

Window tinting film has some fairly straightforward benefits to a driver, not the least of which is heat dissipation, but there are many types of tint film on the market, made of different materials and serving a variety of roles. All window tinting films start with… well, the film, which is a polyester material anywhere from 2 to 7 mils thick (which equates to roughly .002 to .007 inches). In many cases, two or more layers of film are bonded together to form a multi-layered barrier against everything from UV exposure to scratches. Manufacturers of window tinting film may also incorporate chemical UV blockers (such as cyclic imino ester), and if the film is to serve only this purpose there are no additional materials required for use in the film.

Dyed Films

The materials sandwiched between the mounting adhesive and the scratch resistant hardcoat are where most film types stand apart. The most basic of tint film contains a simple layer of dyed film, which serves to both absorb heat and reduce onlooker visibility. There is normally some impact on cockpit visibility from within the vehicle, however it will be minor. Due to the application of tint films on the interior side of vehicle windows, the heat rejected by the film is partially stored in the glass itself, and external air movement serves to draw most of this built up heat away during normal driving. Dyed film should never be used on the interior of thermal glass, as it will trap a significant amount of heat between the panes where there is no air movement.

Deposited Films

Deposition technology involves a more intricate process where the film is drawn through a tank containing certain types of metal ingots, usually nickel-chrome or aluminum. The pressure in the tank is then reduced creating an artificial vacuum, which is then flooded with argon gas and the ingots are heated, causing the metal to emit particles that migrate to the film surface. The density of the metal deposition is controlled by the speed with which the film passes through the chamber. Deposition technology is relatively inexpensive and is commonly used, however it is limited by the types of metals that can be used in the manufacturing process, resulting in a fairly restrictive product line with few options.

Sputtered (Metallized) Films

This process is a bit more complex than that of deposited films. As with deposited film, sputtering is also done in a vacuum chamber, but the metallizing characteristic is achieved at the atomic level autel maxisys ms906. With the use of electromagnetic fields, argon gas (or another type of inert gas) is directed toward the metal. This process causes very small groups of molecules to separate from the metal and uniformly deposit onto the film. Whereas deposited films must use a very limited number of metals due to the nature of that process, sputtering can be done with over 20 different types of metals, making the process far more versatile and results in a much lighter and thinner coating. These metallized films are a bit more expensive to produce than dyed films, putting this category up near the top of the price range for tinting film.

Hybrid Films

Hybrid films take the best of both worlds from the aforementioned film types, employing both a dyed film layer and a reflective metallized layer to achieve superior results. By combining the reflective properties of the metals with the absorption characteristics of dyed film Advanced Version of DS708, less of each material is required, generally resulting in a slightly lighter tint with equal or greater heat rejection than any of the previously mentioned film types on their own, with low reflectivity. This film type shatters the misconception that assumes darker films provide greater heat rejection. In most cases, the darker dyed films are chosen for little other than aesthetic value and greater privacy at a lower price.

Ceramic Films

Ceramic tint films are a relatively new development in the industry, and are absolutely top-tier. Utilizing neither the dyes nor metals found in other films, ceramic tint films are constructed with nanotechnology, and while surpassing the heat rejection capability of even the best metallic film, have none of the signal interference normally associated with it. In addition, this highly durable film serves to strengthen the glass to which it is applied, practically eliminating the possibility of glass shattering in a collision or other accident. Ceramic films are also highly resistant to fading, cracking, discoloration, bubbling, and many other drawbacks associated with other film types. It does, however, have one drawback - price. Often it is far more expensive than other applications, but if you are looking for the absolute best window tint solution available, ceramic film is certainly the highest quality film on the market.
